# How do team seats work?

Team seats are how people share one Promoly account.

### Seats included in each plan

The account owner uses 1 seat.

* Starter: 1 seat
* Basic: 1 seat
* Pro: 2 seats
* Premium: 3 seats
* Label and Ultra: 5 seats

### Extra seats

Extra seats are £9 per month, 1 seat each, up to 5 extra.

You can buy extra seats on Pro, Premium, Label, and Ultra only, and only through Stripe.

Starter and Basic cannot buy a lone extra seat. If a second person needs access, upgrade to Pro.

### What counts as occupied

Occupied seats are the owner, plus active members, plus pending invites.

### What seats do and do not do

Members inherit the owner's entitlements.

Seats do not unlock plan-gated features. A seat lets someone into the account. It does not raise the plan.
