How do I manage Bandcamp codes on a campaign?
Bandcamp codes let you give each recipient a unique download code from your campaign. In the campaign editor, open Bandcamp codes with the Bandcamp button (same place as before).
What you will see
- Campaign-wide inventory counts (Available, Assigned, Total)
- Search by recipient or code
- Status filters
- Page selection when you have many codes
Import codes
You can import codes from a text file. Imports append to the campaign inventory. They do not replace codes that are already on the campaign, and they do not remove codes that are missing from the file.
Before codes are added, use Review codes. Promoly checks formatting and duplicates (already on the campaign, or repeated in the file). Invalid and duplicate entries are skipped; existing campaign codes are kept as they are. Then confirm and Add.
Remove and transfer
Select available codes, then Remove or Transfer.
Remove starts an 8 second window with Undo (closing the manager also cancels). After that, available codes are removed from the campaign inventory. Bandcamp itself is unchanged.
Transfer moves available codes to another of your promo campaigns for the same release. Assigned codes stay with their recipients.
Remove and transfer only affect available codes. If some cannot be changed (already assigned, unavailable, or already in the destination), Promoly reports how many were skipped.
Offer codes to recipients
Use Offer codes to recipients (On or Paused) to control whether recipients are offered codes. That control is unchanged.
Code inventory changes save on their own, separately from saving the rest of the campaign.
Assigned means linked to a recipient. Promoly does not confirm whether the code was redeemed on Bandcamp.
If something looks wrong after an import or transfer, reply in chat with the campaign name and we will check it.
